(1) Preparation and Presentation
・ Your presentation is restricted to the use of PC with a liquid
crystal projector.
・ A laptop PC and a liquid crystal projector will be prepared at each hall.
・ The prepared laptop PC is loaded with WindowsXP only.
Its application is PowerPoint2003. The PC is not corresponded to
WindowsVista and Office2007.
・ Macintosh is not acceptable.
・ A USB Flash Memory is the only media to be carried in. Floppy disk,
CD, and MO are not acceptable.
・ In your USB flash memory,
please save only your presentation data.
Your presentation number and your name should be included in
that file name.
Example: O-001-S_First_Family
・ In case that your data was made by other applications than WindowsXP and
PowerPoint2003,
the data may not be shown correctly. Therefore, please test your data
at the PC corner prior to your presentation.
PCs at the PC corner have the same specifications as the PC at each hall.
・ Please bring your presentation data to the reception desk
at each hall 30 minutes before your presentation.
Please cooperate for the smooth operation of the meeting.
(2)Directions for Making Data
2-1. Making Data with Windows
・ Presentation by the use of a USB flash memory only.
・ Your application soft must be newer than
PowerPoint2000 and older than 2003.
2-2. Making Data with Macintosh
・ Presentation by the use of a USB flash memory only.
・ Since the prepared PC at each hall is loaded with Windows,
your USB flash memory must be compatible with Windows.
・ Your application soft must be newer than PowerPoint2000
and older than 2003,
otherwise, newer than MacintoshPowerPoint98.
・ The following fonts should be used to avoid your data
being garbled: Century, Century Gothic, and Times New Roman
2-3. Using Movie Data, etc.
・ It may be a cause of an error, please avoid using movie or
animation data as much as possible.
When you use a movie data, please test your data at the PC corner
prior to your presentation.
・ If your data is linked to other data such as picture, animation,
and graph, etc.,
please save those data in your file as well, and test it prior to your
presentation.
(3)General Presentation
・ The total of ten minutes is provided per presentation,
divided into 8 minutes of presentation and 2 minutes of questions and
answers. Please be punctual, otherwise you may be interrupted before
you end your presentation.
・ The signal bell rings after 8 minutes and 10 minutes past your
presentation.
(4) Maker Presentation
・ The total of 15 minutes is provided per presentation,
divided into 12 minutes of presentation and 3 minutes of questions and
answers.
※ Your presentation data will completely be deleted
at the end of each session under the responsibility of
JLAST2008 executives.
(1) Exhibition: Thursday, May 15 through Saturday, May 17
・ Poster presentation will be held twice, the first half and the second half.

The Second Half: P-088-S thru P-178-S

・ Exhibition: Thursday, May 15 Please exhibit your poster by 12:00
・ Core hours: Friday, May 16 9:30-10:30
・ Withdrawal: Friday, May 16 Please withdraw your poster by 11:30
≪The second half P-088-S〜P-178-S≫
・ Exhibition: Friday, May 16 Please exhibit your poster during 12:00-15:00
・ Core hours: Saturday, May 17 9:30-10:30
・ Withdrawal: Saturday, May 17 Please withdraw your poster by 15:00
*Please stand by in front of your poster during the core hours.
At that time, please wear the ribbon on your chest which is being
attached on the poster board.
*Please withdraw your poster by the time listed above. If the posters
were not withdrawn by that time, the staff of JLAST2008 office
will dispose those posters.
(2) Directions for Making Poster
・ Poster size should be within 120cm length x 90cm width.
・ Print the title, the names (mark ○ on the head person),
and the affiliated organization names on the upper
part of your poster.
・ Please leave it blank the upper left part of your poster for
your presentation number card (20cm x 25cm) to be attached.
・ The size of the text should be large enough to read them from
the distance.
・ Poster board and posting pins will be prepared at the hall.
・ Your presentation number will be prepared by JLAST2008 office.
